Hi, my name’s Tom Cross. I’m a freelance writer, copywriter and content marketer based in London.
I write compelling content for brands over at www.tomcrosscontent.com.
And on this site are a collection of visual stories that I’ve written. You can find them over on the blog page.
A lot of these stories are set in Barcelona, which I called home between 2014 and 2017. These include a last-minute miracle at Camp Nou, a first-hand account of the Catalan Independence Referendum, and being seduced by the light of Barcelona from my balcony.
But you might want to start from the top, with a local’s guide to the city. You can find that here.
There are London stories, too. In one, I travel back in time along the Regent’s Canal. And in another I use running as an excuse to explore the Marshes – one of my favourite hidden spots in the city.
Then there’s the story of my great-great uncle, James Welch, whose medallion from the First World War fascinated me as a boy.
I hope you enjoy these stories.
